A Child's Special Wish Association of America

Hunter is a 6 year old child from FL, who needs a double lung transplant. Hunter has many dreams. As parents we want our children to make sure that those dreams come true, with your help we have given Hunter his Special Wish, $5,000.00 towards his transplant.

Nicole is a 5 year old child from NY who was given a liver transplant, by a close relative, her Special Wish was to have a Laptop computer with the works, she is a very bright child. With your kind donations Nicole received her wish, and now is enjoying her time at home.

Victoria is an 8 year old child from NY that suffers from congenital heart disease, and has a pacemaker. Her Special Wish is to go to Disney Land in California and Universal and to see her favorite cousin in California, so with your donations we sent Victoria and her family to California for a fun filled vacation.

Lonnie is 16 years old from IL he has Cystic Fibrosis and Respiratory Illness, his Special Wish was for him and his family of 7 to go to Animal Kingdom. Lonnie was met by representatives of A Childs Wish and spent the day at the Kingdom, Lonnie also went to Sea World the following day and then spent the rest of the week touring the Orlando sights.

Ryan is a delightful 10 year old child, from Pa unfortunate he was diagnosed with PNET, he also suffer from deafness some visual changes, hemiparesis and ataxia and is also wheelchair bound. His disease is incurable. Ryan's Special Wish was for a pool, with your help Ryan now watches his pool being built. With this pool Ryan can exercise and his strength will hopefully let him walk one day. UPDATE...Ryan's Pool is Now Built and he is enjoying it.

Justin is a bright 7 year old child from PA  He has Leukemia, Justin's Special Wish was to meet Mickey and Donald, The president of A Childs Wish and the Program Director meet Justin at Disney. Justin had a full day of fun, along with staying at Disney's Hotel for 3 days, he meet his friends at Disney. Justin was with 7 members of his family and even had meals with his new found friends Mickey and Donald. Justin's smile says it all, your donations helped us provide that smile.

Matthew is an 11 year old from LA and suffers from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Matthew condition is fatal. His Special Wish is to go to Disney and in near future he and his family will be on the way to Fun in the Sun in Florida at Disney. Smiles like Matthew is the rewards for our donors.

Andrew is a 16 year old, from and suffers from Lupus, a very rare disease in children. Andrew Special Wish was a shopping spreee. In July he went on that spree and, thanks to our donors, Andrew now has a lot of new games and clothes.

Kenneth is a 16 year old from MI and always thinks of others before himself. Kenneth has has multiple surgeries for neurosurgical and orthopedic. this condition can be life threatening. His Special Wish was for a computer to help further his education, and with your donation on Christmas Eve Ken received a package— a new computer.

Anna is a 10 year old girl from MS, with a Special Wish to visit the home of Bart Jr, the bear in Utah. Anna has had Leukemia 3 times. With your kind donations we sent Anna and her family on a trip to Utah for 5 days, where she was able to meet Bart JR and his trainers.

Nikos is a bright young 15 year old from IN, that loves sports. Due to his illness, Nikos may need a lung transplant. His Special Wish was items from Dan Marino so with your help and the help of the Dan Marino Foundation he now owns an Autographed Jersey, A DVD and Dan Marino Personally Autographed Book, some time in the future we hope to get Nikos to a sports game. His Wish came true and more.

Anahis is a 6 year old from FL, who enjoys Swimming, Feeding Ducks and playing in the Rain. Her Special Wish was to go to Disney, so with your generous Donations her Wish came True— A weekend at Disney staying at Disney Hotel and going to the park. Again, thank you for all your support and thoughts for the children.

Steven is 10 years old, he is from AL. He wants to be President, which is possible. But his Special Wish is for a Computer and XBOX. Steven has Sickle Cell Disease and requires chronic transfusion therapy. In June 2007 Steven will receive his computer and XBOX so he can further his education and enjoy his time at home. Once again our donors stepped up to help another child's Wish come true.

Shannon is a beautiful 17 year old Female from PA, with a bright future. She is smart, strong and enjoys life. She has a brain tumor and her current status is stable. Her Special Wish was to go to Disney with her class, and with the help of caring people, she was able to go.

Ashtyn is a sensitive young girl from WI. She has a rare disorder Canavan Disease, her life expectancy is the age of approx 7. She is a fighter. With the Great Support of Family and Friends, Ashtyn is one of 21 participants in a clinical trial to help her with this rare disease. Her Special Wish is for A Surround Sound and A BIG Screen TV. She loves fireworks and the symphony. With your help we are in the process of granting her Wish. We will keep you updated on her condition. Ashtyn and her Parents will never stop trying to find a cure for her disease. Ashtyn has a helping hand. UPDATE... Ashtyn now has that TV and Surround System, and in Jan 07 I had the pleasure to meet Ashtyn and had dinner with her, a moment I wont forget. Thank You Ashtyn.

Christopher is a bright 16 year old from Florida, who loves animals and enjoys life. He has Dushene Muscular Dystrophy, he will be in a wheelchair permanently and requires round the clock care. Christopher's Special Wish was for a Laptop computer. And now with your help, He is enjoying his new Laptop computer. Ka'dor is a 12 year old male child from AL. He is currently going through chemotherapy and is doing well but his prognosis is poor. He enjoys computers and playing play station 2. His Special Wish was to have a new computer and to be able to play games on Play Station 2. With your help and generous donation Ka'dor is now enjoying his new Computer and able to play games on his new Play Station 2. At times we hope the best for children, but in certain cases we can make sure they have the best.

Kathryn is a bright 8 year old girl from Illinois who loves to build Lego's and play on swings. She has a rare brain tumor and has had surgery and now has chemo treatment. Her Special Wish was for a Rainbow Play Station, So we contacted the company and purchased a Set for her within the next two weeks it will be delivered and set up so Kathryn can start swinging for the sky. Your donation helped this Wish become a reality. Thank You.

Whitley is a 7 year old child from MS, she has Muscular Dystrophy, Arthrogryposis ans Scoliosis, she is permanently ventilated via trachestomy. Her Special Wish was for a day of beauty with her friends. In Nov '07 Whitley and her friends went on a day trip, First they were picked up by Limo and taken to get there nails done, from there they went to Chuckie Cheese for lunch and games, then they went to the mall and did some shopping, and then they went on a limo ride stopping here and there. All together she had a 9 hour day and it was all made possible with donations from caring people such as yourself. We Thank You.

William "Hunter" is a 15 year old energetic boy from AL who loves video games. Hunter is confined to either a wheelchair or bed for his lifetime. He has Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy, and suffers from a Lung Disease and decreased cardiac function. His Special Wish is for a Flat Screen HDTV. We are in the process of purchasing a TV for Hunter. I am sure when Hunter watches and plays video games on his new TV he will be thinking of how lucky he is to have people who care about children.

Alexis & Cierra are two young children from IL with no chance in life but they strive to over come. Alexis has CP, Congenital, and is legally blind. Cierra has Shaken Infant Syndrome, Seizure, and is legally blind. Neither will improve, they currently live with a Foster Parent and the Special Wish they wanted was a Flex Steel Sofa, so they could be comfortable when they sit down or lie down. Thanks to people who opened their heart, they now have a 78 inch sofa purchased from Flex Steel.

Jasmine is 11-3/4 years old from Illinois. She loves to smile and puts smiles on peoples faces. Jasmine has a neurological disease, that slowly takes away her motor skills. Her Special Wish was to go on a shopping spree. In April 2009 Jasmine got her wish. She and her mom were picked up by Limo then she went shopping. After that they went to lunch and then the limo took them home so she could start enjoying the items she bought on her spree. This wish was granted by your generous donations.
